During the second edition of the Dutch Open Hackathon I developed with three others Transavia Dreams, which won the first price in the category of Transavia. Transavia Dreams is a social media campaign to book a flight in a new and unique way. By making a personal postcard of your dream holiday, the application will search for a matching destination. The website is currently in development in collaboration with Transavia, and will be live in a few months.
The Dutch Open Hackathon was organized by a group of leading international companies from the Netherlands like KLM, Transavia, Philips, Rabobank, Amsterdam Airport Schiphol, TomTom Telematics, Albert Heijn, bol.com, and USG People to drive global innovation. During this challenge, participants had to build and create a working application within 30 hours with the API’s of the organizing companies and present it to a jury that consists of management of the organizing companies. Within our team, I was mainly responsible for the UX and UI design.
